This year, we are excited to announce the establishment of the Astronomy Society, an initiative led by Sandali Vasundhara, a dedicated student from our school's Science Society. Under her leadership, the Astronomy Society has been successfully founded and has received strong support from the Science Section.

Shortly after its formation, the society held its first star observation camp on September 27th in collaboration with the Science Society of President Girls' College  and the Astronomical Society of Maliyadeva College . The ACCIMT Institute has also played a crucial role in supporting this initiative. The Astronomy Society provides students with the opportunity to explore the wonders of the universe from a scientific perspective. They are already holding monthly meetings at the college to share knowledge about astronomy with their peers
