From the year 2019 onwards, the college will operate in accordance with the provisions provided by circular and guide manual on planning and structural development as per circular 20 2018 issued on 06.22.2018. Step by step name of the President Girls’ College has spread not only in Sri Lanka but also internationally. Forward into the 14th year of the school more than 2000 students are educating in this school. Academic Staff is 94. 1-5 primary section as three parallel classes 6-11 section as 4 parallel classes. From 2017 the Advanced Level section had started as Science, Maths, Commerce and Arts streams are running with 9 classes, for parallel classes in grade 6 to 10 due to initiation of new scholarship board which included 45 students who passed the grade 5 scholarship examination.

At present the headmistress of this college is Mrs. W. M. C. Warnasoooriya is in charge. The principal has been entrusted with the responsibility of leading the college which has been upgraded as 1AB school with commencement of the A levels with long experience as a first-grade officer in the SL principal service.
